The Nigerian Air Force says it will continue to sustain the tempo of operations aimed at combating all forms of criminality in Nigeria. Chief of the Air Staff, Sadique Abubakar, notes that despite the challenges the force will not waver in its commitment to bring insurgents activities and all other forms of criminality to an end. The Air Force Chief discloses that the air force will continue to work to improve the operational readiness of its officers and men.
The first point of call for the Chief of the Air Staff is the Nigerian Air Force base in Yola coming after 4 months since he last visited, the objective this time is to Commission some projects that have direct bearing on the operational capability of the Nigerian Air Force. An obviously delighted base welcomes the chief in a typical manner.
