The recruitment of 500,000 graduates for direct teaching jobs by the Federal Government will begin on June 12 through an internet portal, npower.gov.ng. The spokesman to the Vice President, Mr. Laolu Akande, said this in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the portal will be available on June 11, while applicants are expected to visit the site on June 12. “Young unemployed Nigerians are advised to visit the website and apply,’’ the statement said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that President Muhammadu Buhari had in his May 29, Democracy Day broadcast, launched the social investment programmes already provided for in the 2016 budget.
