The Federal Government says strategic roads like the Ilorin/Jebba/Mokwa road and the Lagos/Ibadan expressway are getting the required attention from the contractors even when they have not been paid.

This according to Power, Works and Housing Minister, Babatunde Fashola is due to the integrity and trust that exist between the government and contractors. The government also expresses its readiness and strong will to deliver on campaign promises.

After the 2015 elections and the swearing in of the Muhammadu Buhari led administration, what is known as the Buharimeter was launched by a coalition of civil society groups and activists to according to the director of the centre for democracy and development is to monitor the 221 campaign promises of the All Progressives Congress and President Muhammadu Buhari.
