The Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN) has picked Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for what the association described as his immense contribution to the legal profession and the Nation’s democracy. Also nominated for the award are Governors Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State.
At a pre-award briefing in Abuja on Thursday, the National President of MULAN, Kamal Alhaj Dawud, stressed the urgent need to build a united, virile and prosperous country. He identified Prof. Osinbajo and the three governors as decent, humble, honest, patriotic and morally upright Nigerians who deserve recognition and encouragement for them to give more to the society.
Dawud said, “We have identified them as honest, patriotic and morally upright Nigerians who are delivering bountiful dividends of democracy to the people.
