Basking from the euphoria of it’s one year in office, some members of the Eight Senate have continued admonishing the Red Chamber for its achievement so far. Speaking exclusively to CoreTV News, some of the say one major achievement is the unification of legislative business between the two chambers.

Besides the bills and motions, the selection of APC’s Bukola Saraki as the President of the Senate and Ike Ekweramadu of the PDP demonstrates the resolve of both the majority and the minority to work together.

June 9th 2015, the Eighth National Assembly was inaugurated and despite the initial worries over who becomes leader, it soon settled down to legislative business sponsoring bills and motion they feel are in the interest of Nigerians.
