Youths in Plateau state are protesting the inclusion of the state penciled down for grazing reserves. In spite of the seemingly intimidation from the state government and security agencies the protest went on as planned. Leader of the protesting youths Musa Bogus says he was prevailed upon to call for a dialogue instead of outright rejection of the plan.

In the wake of the contentious issue of grazing reserves for herdsmen across the country, youths in Plateau state are taking their grievances to the streets of Jos to register their displeasure with the plan of the State Government to offer some of its lands permanently to Herdsmen.

During the protest which saw large number of security personals, the protest leader appealed to the youths not to take the law into their hands.
