ARASE CHALLENGES POLICE OFFICERS TO MAKE GOOD USE OF INTEGRATED SECURITY EQUIPMENT’S

Officers and the rank and file of the Police have no more excuse not to perform with the continuing efforts of the leadership of the force in providing state of the art facilities to aid there day to day operations. Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase also added that the introduction of forensic laboratory and other modern interrogation and policing tools will aid the Police in its drive towards intelligence driven policing.

Over the years, the Nigeria Police Force has come under heavy criticism from the public due to its perceived weakness in investigating high profile crimes and manage complex criminal situations but today the Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase expresses his happiness that this will be a thing of the past.

In his welcome address to the launch of the integrated policing and investigative equipment for the Police, he challenges officers and men of the force to make good use of the new equipment which includes a database for criminals and a mobile forensic lab as well as drones and step up their policing game.
