Factional Peoples Democratic Party Youth Group converged on the party secretariat Wednesday to to protest the return of Ali Modu Sheriff as the Chairman of the Party. The protesting youths while at the gate prevented some principal officers including former National Secretary Wale Oladipo and National Auditor Adewole Adeyanju who had earlier entered the building from coming out.
The youth took things into their hands locking up the gate and handing the key over to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Senator Walid Jibrin.
However things turned around later in the evening when an opposite group arrived the scene supporting the Sheriff faction and physically breaking the key open and to gain entry.
