The Spanish Government says it will help the in recovering any funds belonging to Nigeria if its indeed within its sovereign territory as part of efforts aimed at improving on the strong strategic partnership that exists between Spain and Nigeria. Nigeria according to the Spanish Ambassador to the country is an example for other African countries to follow.
The Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria while on a visit to the ministry of information and culture describes the partnership between his country and Nigeria as a strong strategic relationship that has been on for sometime leading to the about 4.3 billion Euros in trade between both countries.
He expresses his confidence that the relationship will continue to improve and expand to other areas beyond the oil and gas sector to areas such as Tourism, Cultural Relationship and Investment.
