President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed regret over the inability of some states to pay workers’ salaries. The President stated this while meeting with staff of the State House at the Aso Rock Villa. President Buhari also reaffirmed the commitment of his administration at freeing Nigeria from the shackles of corruption.
Workers at the President Villa are meeting President Buhari to welcome him back from his recent vacation. The President had gone to the UK to see his doctors over ear infection. Speaking at the brief meeting, the President says his administration is battle ready to tame corruption, which according to him is major clog in the wheel of the Nation’s progress.
President Buhari however expressed regret over the inability of some states to pay workers’ salary. Issues of fall in crude oil price, diversification of the economy and rise in the exchange rate were also talked about by the President.
