Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung has identified paucity of fund as a major setback in the preparation of the nation’s athletes for 2016 Rio Olympics. Dalung stated this while briefing State House Correspondents after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Minister also bears his mind on the plans of whether Nigeria football federation should hire a local or foreign coach for the super eagles.
As the Nation gets set for the Rio Olympic Games, the minister of sports who claims that athletes are preparing for excellent performance at the global sporting competition says Nigeria is billed to participate in eight event to ensure optimal participation.
