Lawmakers have insisted that the electoral process should be allowed to its full course rather than rush the process. They say that the only way any judgement can be respected is when it is given the opportunity to go the whole length.
The dust surrounding the judgment by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court Abuja sacking the incumbent Governor of Abia State Okezie Ikpeazu over declaration of fake tax certificate has refused to die down.
While some hold the view that he should vacate his seat as a result of the judgement of the Federal High Court as the Governor of Abia State, there are others who feel the judicial process should be allowed to go the whole length to give it credibility and acceptance.
