FCT RESIDENTS CELEBRATE SALLAH AMIDST ECONOMIC HARDSHIP

Residents of the Federal Capital Territory have complained about the state of the nation’s economic as celebrations marking the Eid El Fitri kicks off. Regular prices of basic necessities have shut up in the market within the territory to unimaginable heights and most resident are calling on government do more to cushion the effect of the crunch.

Despite not sighting the moon, Nigerians have started the holidays of the EID-EL FITRI Celebrations in full swing leaving the usually major active routes of the city centre quiet.

Chairman of the Poultry Association says the low patronage of the bird even in the festive is quite unusual during festivity period but are hopeful that business will pick up despite low cash flow.
