The acting Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission Anthony Aka has directed the immediate investigation into the remote cause of a transformer that blew up in the Lugbe area of the Federal Capital Territory killing about six people and injuring many more. The CEO has been visiting victim of the unfortunate incidence to ascertain the level of damage the blow must have caused.
His legs are still bleeding one week after the fatal transformer explosion in Tudun Wada community in a suburb in Lugbe. Last saturday at about nine pm, this transformer located in the heart of the community suddenly began exploding for a close to thirty minute causing a Power Surge that created a shock wave to houses in the affected areas.
