The South Sudan Government says the Federal Government should reprise its role as the big brother on the African continent by helping to bring peace to Beleaguered nation. Ambassador of the south Sudan to Nigeria, Riek Puok Riek also says his country is extending the invitation to help and bring peace to all well meaning Nigerians adding that calm has returned to its violence hit capital.
When in the late 70s’ to the period leading up to its Independence Referendum from Sudan, the south Sudanese people fought a bitter war of independence against the alleged oppressive policies of the Sudan Government, many observers thought the newly independent nation was poised for greatness. But a few years than the line the situation is not so rosy but this according to the ambassador of South Sudan to Nigeria has nothing to do with the death of its former Charismatic Leader, John Garang.
He says all that is happening now is a case of disagreement between brothers which he believes the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari can help solve just like it was in Sierra Leone and Liberia.
