The Federal Capital Territory Ministry says it will back the 2016 Abuja carnival in whatever way necessary to ensure its success. Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello, discloses that the Ministry being major beneficiaries of the carnival will support the propagation of the nations’ culture and promotion of tourism that the carnival seeks to promote.
With a carnival established by the Federal Government in 2005 in Abuja, the Nations’ Capital joined the league of cities with carnivals to promote them and also encourage tourism and interest in the nations’ culture.
This according to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory has brought a lot of benefits to the city. He notes that the ministry will support the carnival in whatever ways possible to ensure its continued sustenance.
