CJN URGES FEMALE JUDGES ON ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed has charged female judges on the need to restore public faith in the administration of Justice in Nigeria. Justice Mohammed gave the advice Friday in Abuja at the Annual National Conference of the National Association of Women Judges, Nigeria.

The National Association of Women Judges, Nigeria is the umbrella body that brings together female judges in the country. Members of the Association are here for their annual National Conference and to deliberate on issues that pose challenges to their profession. Represented by a Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Clara Ogunbiyi, the CJN hailed the contributions of the women judges in the advancement of the Justice Sector.

He further urged them to always uphold their professional code of conduct, noting that the primary duty of the judge was to ensure that justice was done.
