The Federal Government says the change that Nigerians voted for will come sooner than is expected and has called on all Nigerians to be patient as the painful task of turning adversity into opportunity for growth and development continues. Information and culture minister, Lai Mohammed, adds that the government will partner with all stakeholders including non-governmental organisations to improve service delivery and take the economy to an enviable height.
Speaking as the Special Guest of Honour in an epoch making occasion, the inauguration of the First African International President of the inner wheel, Yetunde Alatishe, the Information and Culture Minister, says the Federal Government will deliver the change that Nigerians voted for but calls for patience.
He adds that the Government has the political wheel to work with all stakeholders to minimise the impact of the current economic downturn on the people and ensure that the Nation stops importation of some essential commodities between 2018 and 2019.
