As the convention of the National Council of Women NCWS enters its second day, all is now set for the elections which will usher in a new EXCO. Expectations are very high judging from the early arrival of members to the Women Development Centre Venue of the event and despite the delay in the process.
Members of the NCWS are at the Women Development Centre, venue of this year’s convention to elect a new leader that will run the affairs of the Council for the next four years.
They have come from across the 36 states of the country including the FCT to choose their leaders and despite the delay that usually characterised electoral processes in the country and the rains, they have defied the elements in anticipation of a credible elections through the exercise of their civic rights.
