The Federal Government will work closely with all stakeholders to achieve the reforms of the Transport Sector and especially the Nigerian Maritime Safety and Administration Agency (NIMASA) for optimum performance. Transport Minister, Rotimi Amaechi also adds that the government is working tirelessly to ensure that change comes to the Transport sector.
With the report of the Ministerial Committee set up to look into how to reform the activities of the Nigerian Maritime Safety and Administration Agency now in, the Minister of Transport says the government will take a close look at the report.
He adds that the Federal Government will work with all stakeholders in the sector to move it forward but also discloses that his observation during a visit to the agency was responsible for the decision to set up the Committee.
