The Senate Committee On Navy has pledged its commitment to ensure that the Nigerian Navy is assisted to meet its naval obligations in securing Nigeria’s waters through enhanced budgetary provision. Chairman Senate Committee on Navy, Senator, Isah Hamma made this known while carrying out oversight function on the Nigerian Navy in Abuja.
He says, the Committee will partner with the Navy to ensure that opportunities are explored towards ensuring more sophistication in defending the nation’s maritime domain. Adequate logistic facilities are crucial for effective Naval Operation.
