ABUJA URBAN TRANSPORT COMPANY WORKERS PROTEST OVER 5 MONTH ARREARS

Workers of the Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company have shut down the operations of the company following the inability of the management of the company to pay workers salaries for 5 months. The workers under aegis of the amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees say they will not go back to work until they are paid.

Protesting workers of the Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company showing their displeasure over what they describe as the insensitivity of the management of the company owned by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

Led by the leaders of the Union at both the FCT and National Levels the workers slam the alleged mismanagement of the company despite huge revenue.
