SARAKI CALLS ON WARRING NFF FACTIONS TO SHIELD SWORDS

President of the Senate Bukola Saraki has called on the factions of the Nigerian Football Federation to make peace and come together for the development of football in the country. Saraki made this call while receiving the President of FIFA Gianni Infantino, President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick and some African Football Federation Presidents in Abuja.

He says the time has come to let go of issues from the controversial election and put the nation’s football first.

The FIFA team arrived Nigeria to see for itself effort that the country has been taken to further develop football in the country.
NFF President who chaperoned the team told the President of the Senate that Nigeria says football more than politics has the greatest potential to unite the people of Nigeria.
