The Police in Lagos on Tuesday said it foiled an attempt by unknown gunmen to attack Igando Community in the state. The spokesperson of the command, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of Police, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
“Some group of people invaded the Igando area in the early hours of today (Tuesday). Our operatives positioned in strategic places in the community, were alerted and they swiftly moved in and foiled the attack.
“Right now, normalcy has returned to the community,’’ Badmos said.
