Acting Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris has reiterated his commitment to repositioning the Nigeria Police Force. Addressing the Newsmen after the Police Management team retreat in Abuja, the IG says his administration will give priority to good morals and value of the personnel, as well as strengthen the force operational capacity.
The Acting Inspector General of Police says the retreat is to ensure that the Force has a deeper understanding of the policy direction and sustaining Police reform through proactive Leadership style.
He says the Police will continue to embrace reforms that will re-position the force in line with international best practice. The three days retreat is expected to formulate new policies that will continue to strengthen and improve the operation of force.
