Atletico Madrid have signed French forward Kevin Gameiro from fellow La Liga side Sevilla for an undisclosed fee, reported to be about £28m. The 29-year-old has signed a four-year-deal and will have a medical at the club on Saturday.
Gameiro scored 29 goals in all competitions last season, but was not selected in France’s Euro 2016 squad.
He joined Sevilla from Paris St-Germain in 2013, helping the Spanish side to three successive Europa League titles.
