President Muhammadu Buhari will at the weekend travel to New York to participate in the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Buhari’s travel plans were revealed by Tolu Ogunlesi, his Special Assistant on Digitial and New Media via his verified Twitter handle.
Without specifying the day that President Buhari would travel, Ogunlesi said that he would be speaking on the first day of the general assembly as the fifth speaker.
Ogunlesi tweeted, “President @MBuhari will this weekend leave for New York to participate in the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA74). He will be speaking on Day 1 of the General Debate (Speaker No. 5) – Sept 24, 2019.”
