The Senate on Thursday asked its committee on Finance to scrutinise the 2020-2022 Medium Term Expenditure Frame Work and Fiscal Strategy Paper and present its report in plenary next week.
President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, asked the committee chaired by Senator Solomon Adeola, to treat the report with the necessary urgency it deserved. The Leader of the Senate, Abdullahi Yahaya, had implored the upper legislative chamber to consider the request by the President to the Senate on the documents.
Lawan said, “The document is hereby referred to the Senate committee on Finance and they should report back and laid it before the Senate on Wednesday next week.”
