The management of CoreTV news has announced the return of the station on air following the improvement with the floods which made operations at its Discovery Gardens headquarters in Isheri-Olofin in Ogun state impossible.
Founder of the station, Olajide Adediran, said the station is in reboot and will continue to adhere to the highest ethical standards in its operations. He thanked the station’s viewers all over the country and also in the diaspora for the moral support while the temporary closure lasted.
He also thanked members of the Isheri/Opic estate community and both the Ogun and Lagos state governments. He again assured of the readiness of the foremost news medium to engage all relevant stakeholders in addressing all issues to guard against future recurrence of the floods.
He added that the station will in the next few days return to full operations and called for understanding from its viewers as the station goes through the process of rebooting and returning to its pre-shutdown levels.
