The call was occasioned by the increased rate of imported cases of coronavirus in state. The latest was a patient said to have sneaked in from Kano state, a situation which has raised concerned among security experts. They described as unacceptable, a development whereby 27 out of 38 cases of the corona virus recorded in Osun State were imported.

All borders around the State has been closed to avoid interstate human and vehicular movement since the 1st of April to guide against imported cases. The security experts agreed that people cannot be blamed for running for safety from where the cases are on the rise but it behooves on the government to be proactive on how to protect its people.
