This year’s Children’s Day open celebration would be disrupted by the raging Coronavirus Pandemic, which has already put to stop public gatherings and large celebrations across the world. Meanwhile, Team Jandor has strategized a means of putting smiles on the faces of the children across Lagos state.
The Central Coordinator of Team Jandor, Mrs. Funke Ijayekunle, on Tuesday, confirmed the approval of the Lead Visioner, Mr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran to collaborate with Best of Nollywood Awards. This collaboration means that the children would receive random calls from Nollywood stars on Wednesday, May 27 to felicitate with them on this year’s children day celebration.
The Nollywood stars include: Femi Adebayo, Aishat Lawal, Fathia Balogun, Yomi Fash Lanso, Segun Arinze, Mo Bimpe, Mercy Aigbe, Deyemi Okanlawon, Bolanle Ninalowo, Tana Adelana, Ayo Adesanya, Ali Nuhu, Maryam Booth, Adeyinka D 1st among others.
Wishing the children a peaceful and low key celebration, Ijayekunle said “the Lead Visioner is happy to celebrate all the children in Lagos state, and equally urged them to keep to the rules of social distancing, wash their hands regularly and also remain obedient to their parents.”
