The Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, has welcomed the appointment of some members of the movement by the Lagos state government.
He described the political appointments of members of the Lagos4Lagos movement as a welcome departure from the government’s erstwhile political witch-hunt, wherein members of the group were handpicked and suspended for no other reason other than being members of the Lagos4Lagos movement. He also congratulated the new appointees whose appointment letters were sent to the Liberty Place, the State Secretariat of the Lagos4Lagos movement.
Speaking further, the Lead Visioner said the appointments notwithstanding, no amount of political entreaties, however veiled, will affect the focus and resolution of Lagosians to stay committed to the objective of the group to choose their own independent leaders towards making Lagos work for all that live in it. “We encourage the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led government to appoint more of our members, it won’t change the decision of the people who are dedicated to choose their own leaders who will drive Lagos to the rightful destination”, he added.
