Olojo of Ojo Kingdom, Oba Galib Adeniyi Rufai, has thrown his weight behind the aspiration of the Lead Visioner, Lagos4Lagos movement, Dr. Abdul-azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor). Similarly, the monarch has also charged Awori indigenes across Lagos to rally round their son in the gubernatorial election in 2023 in the state.

The prominent Awori monarch expressed his views during a courtesy visit by Adediran to his place. He stated that the entire Awori kingdom is proud of Jandor’s courage despite the treacherous behaviour of fifth columnists in Aworiland. According to the monarch, the kingdom’s unflinching support for the aspiration of Adediran is total and unrelenting, noting that the problems of the Badagry Division could be best tackled by a ‘son of the soil’.

Reacting to the comments of the monarch, Jandor thanked Oba Rufai for mobilizing traditional rulers and chiefs in Awori land across the state despite the intimidation from different quarters. The APC stalwart reiterated his motivation for setting up the Lagos4Lagos movement noting that election choices in Lagos have always been the exclusive preserve of one single individual instead of the whole populace.

The Ojo monarch’s endorsement comes after traditional rulers in Alimosho and Badagry had endorsed the Awori-born politician.
