Jandor thanks Sanwo-Olu for gifting all Royal Fathers N20m each, says a Greek gift in an election year won’t save him from being mercilessly beaten during next year’s election

The Governorship Candidate of the Lagos PDP, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR) has reacted to a report of cash gifts of #20 million each presented by the Sanwo-Olu-led administration to all monarchs in the state.

Jandor remarked that the gesture of the outgoing APC government to the royal fathers is a due perk of office for the much respected monarchs in cognizance of the important role they play in maintaining the peace in their locality, h, however, the motive of the government in delaying till election period to gain undue political mileage is distasteful.

He averred that the desperation of the inept Sanwo-Olu-led government to save itself from the impending doom of colossal electoral failure in the 2023 elections will not work. Aside from the Greek gifts to the respected monarchs, the government also attempted to hoodwink the civil servants and students in tertiary institutions with promises of increases in salary and bursary allowance. The monarchs who have endured the insensitivity and roughshod treatment of the clueless governor and his overbearing godfather over the years cannot be swerved to continue to suffer the ill-treatment because of a momentary pecuniary appeal.

Dr. Adediran enjoined the royal fathers, the civil servants, and the students to gladly see the gifts as part of our common patrimony which the outgoing government has been mismanaging and misappropriating in the last 23 years but that they should remain resolute to mobilize people in their realm of influence to vote their conscience in the forthcoming general elections.

He assured them that the promise of a breath of fresh air by his government will accord due respect to all monarchs and traditional leaders in the state.
