The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, 60 percent of the revenue of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) comes from Lagos State.

Keyamo added that this necessitates optimal use of the new terminal, according to a statement by the ministry’s Head of Press and Public Affairs, Odutayo Oluseyi, made available on Friday.

The minister, who spoke during his facility visit to the Lagos Airport on Thursday, also expressed the Federal Government’s desire to optimise the generating capacity of FAAN.

According to him, the new terminal has 60 check-in points and can accommodate much traffic.
