A few weeks after his domain was split into bits, the Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi, has been accused of fraud.

Governor Ganduje signed a law which created an additional four emirates, a move that was widely seen as depletion of Emir Lamido Sanusi’s influence.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State on Wednesday signed a bill that sought to split the Kano emirate into four into law.
