The Federal government says Nigeria cannot to miss the June 2017 deadline for the digitization of broadcast signals in the country. Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed, says the broadcasting organizations of Nigeria who are critical stakeholders in the industry will be involved every step of the way.
The deadline for the digitization of broadcast signals in Nigeria according to the Minister of Information and Culture is one the country can no longer afford to miss after failing to meet two earlier deadlines.
He says critical stakeholders like BON will be carried along to ensure the success of the pilot scheme from the 30th of this month in Jos, Plateau state. He says the Ministerial Task Force on the process will be expanded after the take off of the pilot scheme.
